Sharing is caring
Unsplash is a website creatives around the world visit to find photographs and inspiration to use for both personal and commercial purposes. The pictures are free to use and it’s a bit ironic that usually the quality and emotion of these freebies beat websites where you have to pay like Shutterstock and iStock. I’ve used it tons over the years and felt it was time I gave back to the community so I uploaded a few of my photos. What I didn’t expect was the overwhelming response the photos got. They’ve been used in books, exhibits and renowned social media accounts like Inertia and people have even donated money even though the pictures are free to use.
At the moment they been viewed over 18 million times and downloaded 160 000 times. For that level of exposure I’m happy to share some more photos in the future.
